These videos are a great place to start if you’re new to crypto. But they’re not just for beginners. We believe building wealth with crypto starts with understanding and applying these foundational concepts. We’ve found that we constantly return to these ideas over and over in the last 4 years, since our crypto adventure began.

1. What is Bitcoin?

Warren Buffet says he doesn’t invest in anything he doesn’t understand. Since he’s a pretty wealthy guy, we’ll take his advice. Here’s the information about Bitcoin that will help you understand the asset, the market, and why we believe in the investment opportunity it provides. Hint: If you’re reading this and it’s not 2035 yet, you’re not too late.

2. What is Ethereum?

Ethereum isn’t Bitcoin’s competitor or Bitcoin’s younger brother. And that’s actually a good thing. Understand what a smart contract is, why it matters, and why we’re so bullish on the asset. We think the internet of the future will be built on Ethereum. See why:

3. Big Mistakes to Avoid

You know, the whole ‘Learn from history or you’re doomed to repeat it” thing. We’ve made our share of mistakes and have read about countless others on Twitter and from friends’ personal stories. One competitive advantage in building wealth is learning from others’ mistakes. Avoiding these mistakes is like getting a 2-year head start on us in how we got started. This video is like a trail sign of ‘Danger Ahead.’

4. Getting Started

What’s great about crypto as that no matter when you got into the space (even now!), we all start in basically the same spot with the same questions. Candidly, crypto can be overwhelming. We created Blazing Crypto to make building wealth with crypto simple. This video covers five basic principles for your crypto investing, like how DCA is your best friend. (What’s DCA? Exactly. Watch the video.) If we could only tell you 5 things about successful investing with crypto, these would be it. There’s more certainly more to say, but this is a primer for building wealth in this space.

We Recommend

Choosing a secure exchange is one of the first important decisions you’ll make when getting started in crypto. We’re here to help by recommending a short list of the best options to consider as you consider your options. All the exchanges below we recommend without reservation. Check them out to find the right one for you!

Coinbase

The largest US-based exchange by volume and user base. Coinbase has an entry level platform which is simple to use, as well as a more advanced exchange option called Coinbase Pro. The standard Coinbase platform offers automated recurring buying for DCA (dollar cost averaging) investing, which is one of our favorite things. Coinbase also offers free crypto for completing short education courses.

Gemini

This exchange was started by the Winklevoss twins in 2015. You may remember them from the Facebook story (and “The Social Network” film). It also offers a simple interface option or a more full-featured option with its Active Trader interface. While comparable, Gemini’s fees are higher than other exchange options.
